Subtle life energy, (Chi, Qi or Prana) is the energy that animates our bodies. A series of energy fields or centers of consciousness, which in traditional Tantric teachings are called chakras, are within every living body. The major energy centers, chakras, are associated with major nerve branches along the spine. Teachings concerning the chakras have occurred independently in religious, spiritual, and yogic traditions, and are also found in indigenous spiritual and healing traditions. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.
